Walking along the border between damp and dry Hesbaye

Walk on the border of rolling hillsides with a flourishing fruit crop and the characteristic southern arable farming. Six signposted walks take you through the boroughs of Piringen, Overrepen, Kolmont, Neerrepen and Riksingen, accounting for a total of 40 km of hikes.

Walking through hollow roads & between clear sources

The green panorama in the northeastern part of Tongeren contains many archaeological traces. Gentlemen installed vineyards and enthusiastically built castles and quadratic farms. Along the flanks of the Jeker & nature reserve De Kevie

From the old city walls of Tongeren, the Jeker meanders powerfully through the Hesbaye landscape and shapes the entire area. Follow the flanks via 9 signposted routes that take you through the boroughs of Mal, Sluizen, Nerem, Vreren and through the beautiful nature reserve of De Kevie. Here you really imagine yourself in an uninhabited world.
